The temperature of autumn is perfect for doing cardiovascular activities such as cycling. The P'tit Train du Nord linear park is the preferred route to cross the Laurentians, as well as the Parc du Corridor aérobique, which extends over 58 km from Morin-Heights to Amherst. To prolong the fun, consider renting or buying an electric bike, which facilitates steep climbs.

The group Les Résidences du Manoir is proud to participate in the Coeur de la Proche Aidance campaign, launched by the community organization L'Antr'Aidant on June 17. This initiative aims to raise awareness of the reality of caregivers and raise funds for the organization. Antr'Aidant is an autonomous community organization whose mission is to contribute to the improvement of the living conditions of caregivers. As a partner, Les Résidences du Manoir helps increase the visibility of the organization L'Antr'Aidant, as well as that of all caregivers. The management of the Manoir Residences knows how important caregivers have been and are for the well-being of seniors on the psychological, physical and emotional levels. This is why she wanted to financially support the campaign of the Heart of Close Help. The Coeur de la Proche Aidance is a heart-shaped pin in beautiful steel and gold colors. With these, we seek to represent the strength and valuable value of caregivers in our community. The heart is also made up of interlaced letters «P» and «A». Each pin will be accompanied by beautiful illustrations representing situations of assistance. In addition, each illustration is associated with a hashtag, which participants can use on social media to express their support for the campaign:

On Thursday, November 14, announced the beginning of a new era for the group Les Résidences du Manoir, as its members celebrated its 25th anniversary at a gala evening on the theme of the Roaring Twenties. The group Les Résidences du Manoir is a network of evolving residences for retirees whose many establishments are located in the Laurentians. These residences have been providing comfort and safety to their occupants for 25 years.

Indeed, 25 years spent serving seniors, reinventing what it means to enjoy retirement by offering lively and dynamic living environments.

Present at the event were Marguerite Blais, Member of Parliament for Prévost and Minister responsible for seniors and caregivers, Jacques Gariépy, Mayor of Saint-Sauveur, business partners, several residents, some of whom have lived at Résidences du Manoir for 25 years, as well as many employees, many of whom have worked for the group since its inception.

With the mission of making every effort to ensure a better quality of life for our seniors, these celebrations were also an opportunity for the Cadieux family, founder and owner of the group, to present the new image of the Manoir Residences; a new logo with a more sober and current image, highlighting the heritage and history of the Manoirs.

The new colors bring a breath of fresh air by offering a more vitaminized version where each can be associated with one of these residences: Manoir de la Vallée, Manoir de la Falaise, Manoir Quatre Saisons, Manoir Sainte-Adèle, Manoir Saint-Adolphe and Les Havres du Manoir. Together, they reflect the dynamic and invigorating daily life of its residents.

The group of retirement homes also adopts a new advertising slogan: «Living in color,» which is the synthesis of the values carried by the group. It conveys a message of happiness, while recalling the nature context in which the Laurentians region is located.
